Palworld is full of hidden, remote locations that hold some of the game’s rarest loot and most unique Pals, and few spots are as sought-after as the magical, cloud-shrouded Feybreak Island. If you’ve been scrolling through forums and social media asking where is feybreak island palworld, you’ve come to the right place. I spent three separate playthroughs searching for this island before I finally nailed down its exact location, and I’ve made every possible mistake on the trip there so you don’t have to. This guide will cover everything you need to find, reach, and explore Feybreak Island without wasting hours of your playtime.
Where Exactly Is Feybreak Island in Palworld?
The first thing you need to know is that Feybreak Island won’t show up on your default map when you start a new save. A lot of players assume it’s part of a DLC or cut content because it stays hidden for so long, but it’s part of the base game for all players. Feybreak Island only appears on your in-game map once you get within 300 meters of its shoreline, so you won’t see it if you’re just scrolling through your map from the main continent.
Feybreak sits in the far northeast quadrant of the Palworld map, well past the cluster of smaller Windward Islands that sit off the northeast coast of the main landmass. Official map coordinates for Feybreak Island are (287, 152), if you use the coordinate overlay that’s available in most game settings. It’s surrounded by deep, choppy ocean, and it’s covered in dense magical forest and rocky mountain ranges once you get onto the shore. If you’re flying northeast from the main continent and you start seeing flocks of light-element Pals spawning in the sky, you’re heading in the right direction.
I almost missed it on my first attempt because I flew a little too far south of the coordinates, and I ended up turning back before I got close enough for the island to load. If you’re unsure you’re going the right way, pay attention to the water color: the ocean around Feybreak has a faint bright blue glow, unlike the darker navy blue of the rest of the open sea.
How to Reach Feybreak Island Safely Without Dying En Route
Now that you know where it is, the next step is getting there without dying to hostile Pals, running out of stamina, or getting knocked off your mount mid-flight. There are two main ways to make the trip, and which one you choose will depend on your playstyle and what gear you have available. We don’t recommend attempting the trip before you reach player level 30, as most of the Pals you’ll encounter along the way and on the island itself are level 30 or higher.
Flying is the most popular option for most players, as it cuts down travel time significantly. You’ll need a flying mount with at least 200 stamina to make the trip without stopping, so Nitewing, Quivern, or Jetragon are all good picks. Bring plenty of stamina-restoring food, like cooked meat or jam buns, to refill your mount’s energy if it starts running low mid-flight. You’ll also want to keep a weapon handy, because hostile aerial Pals like Suzaku and Ragnahawk will attack you unprovoked as you cross the open ocean. Flying is 40% faster than sailing, but comes with higher risk of surprise aerial attacks that can knock you off your mount and into the ocean.
If you don’t have a reliable flying mount yet, you can sail to Feybreak Island with a large raft or a motorboat if you’ve unlocked that tech. The trip takes about 15 minutes of real time, and you’ll need to watch out for aggressive water Pals like Surfent and Arsox that will attack your raft and deal damage to it. Before you leave, make sure you pack these essential supplies:
I tried sailing on my first attempt with a basic raft, and I ended up having to turn back halfway because three Surfents attacked me and destroyed half my raft before I could fight them off. Don’t make that mistake: bring extra repair materials, or upgrade to a motorboat if you can, as it’s faster and more durable.
What Rare Pals and Resources You Can Find on Feybreak Island
All the trouble of getting to Feybreak Island is well worth it once you see what’s available there. This island has some of the rarest spawns and most valuable late-game resources in the entire base game, so it’s a must-visit spot if you’re trying to unlock all endgame content. Feybreak Island is the only spawn location for the rare light-element Pal Lunaris in the base game, so if you want to add this powerful support Pal to your team, you can only get it here.
Other rare Pals that spawn regularly on Feybreak include Shadowbeak, Orserk, and Cryolinx, plus occasional alpha variants of each that drop rare crafting materials when defeated. The western mountain range of the island is full of ore deposits, including huge amounts of Pure Quartz, Crystal, and Magical Ore. Pure Quartz collected here is required to craft all tier 4 electrical devices and late-game tech, so many players build permanent mining outposts on the island to farm this resource consistently.
The eastern shore of the island has dense berry patches and flower spawns, including rare Magic Flowers that are used to craft high-level healing potions and Pal capturing buffs. I’ve also found multiple shiny Pal spawns on the eastern shore during my visits, so it’s a great spot to wander if you’re hunting for rare color variants. The only area you should avoid until you’re level 45 or higher is the central cave system, which holds a level 50 alpha boss that can one-shot most players with lower-tier gear.
Top Tips for Exploring Feybreak Island Long-Term
If you plan to spend more than a few hours on Feybreak Island, or if you want to build a permanent outpost there, there are a few tips that will make your stay a lot easier. First, pick your base location carefully: most of the island is hilly or covered in dense trees, so there are very few flat spots to build. The southwest shore of Feybreak Island is the only flat, safe spot to build a permanent outpost, as it’s close to both the ocean for easy travel access and the western mountains for mining runs.
You’ll also want to build plenty of defensive structures around your base if you stay overnight. Feybreak has a lot of aggressive dark-element Pals that spawn after dark, including roaming packs of Morgley that will attack your base and destroy your crafting stations if you don’t have walls or turrets set up. I also recommend placing a few heat sources around your base if you visit in the winter, as nighttime temperatures drop well below freezing and can drain your health quickly if you’re not prepared.
If you’re visiting specifically to farm resources, set up a few Palboxes with mining Pals like Digtoise or Tombat near the ore deposits on the western side of the island. You can farm up to 20 pieces of Pure Quartz per hour if you set up a mining outpost near the western mountain range, which is more than enough to craft all the late-game tech you need. I also recommend bringing plenty of Ultra Spheres or Legendary Spheres if you’re hunting for Lunaris, as they have a very low catch rate even when you weaken them to low health.
Now that you know the answer to where is feybreak island palworld, you can plan your first trip whenever you’re ready. Don’t rush it if you’re still below level 30, and take time to stock up on all the supplies we listed earlier so you don’t have to turn back halfway like I did my first two attempts. I still visit my outpost on Feybreak every weekend to farm Pure Quartz and check for Lunaris spawns, and it’s easily one of the most rewarding hidden spots in the entire game. If you end up finding any secret spots or rare drops we didn’t mention here, feel free to share them with other players in the comments.
